Laboratory

We use external laboratories for our blood profiles, to ensure accuracy and reliability. Results are usually returned within one day.

In house we can test blood to diagnose diseases such as tick fever, diabetes and more.

Ultrasound

We offer pregnancy scanning.

X-Ray

We use x-rays to diagnose anything from broken bones, arthritis and joint diseases through to bladder stones, tumours and foreign bodies.

Hospitalisation Facilities

We have three seperate wards at Silverfields Vet

* Isolation

We provide each animal daily with clean blankets, veterinary diet food and fresh water.

We also have a secure, double gated, garden which allows long term patients to enjoy the sun and fresh air.

Surgical Theatre

Silverfields Veterinary Surgery has full operating facilities, with a prep room, theatre and recovery room.

Our surgical facilities and skills cater for every eventuality from routine neutering and minor procedures through to major soft tissue surgery.

Dental

Dental disease affects more than 85% of pets over 3 years old. Silverfields Veterinary Surgery has dental equipment to enable us to perform a full range of dental treatments including extractions, scaling and polishing of teeth.
